The Chad Ochocinco of the show's title is, of course, the Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver who famously changed his name from Chad Johnson in 2008, to reflect the numbers on his jersey. The star athlete was born in 1978, the same year as the artist, whose own brand of ad hoc Conceptualism shares something with the spirit of Ochocinco's reinvention. In the past, Bader's work has included proposals to museums to hang sandwiches next to masterpieces, and installations consisting of such objects as art-fair catalogs, dollar bills, watermelons and a jar of tahini.
