Besides making all that crap you buy at Walmart, China has been minting contemporary artists left and right. The group assembled here—Zhou Tiehai, Guo Hongwei, Zhao Zhao, Chen Wei, Hu Xiangqian, Sun Xun, Liang Yuanwei, Cheng Ran and the collective Double Fly Art Center—are part of the latest wave to hit our shores. The works they've brought with them (videos, paintings and photos) all seem to draw inspiration from America itself, or comment upon it in some way. The title is taken from a verse of Song Dynasty poetry that goes, "Seize the flower in the mirror, catch the moon in the water.” In other words, tomorrow belongs to me.
