"By Proxy"

This group show, which includes contributions by Marcel Duchamp, John Cage, Yoko Ono and many others, is predicated on the idea that art is "completed" by the viewer, in the sense that he or she shares a sort of responsibility for divining the work—a process Duchamp called aesthetic osmosis.
