Brad Kahlhamer, "A Fist Full of Feathers"

The Native American artist makes his bow at Shainman with new paintings and his ongoing sculptural series, "Bowery Nation," a menagerie filled with Kahlhammer's various takes on the traditional Hopi kachina doll, crafted from refuse found along the former skid row.
