Benjamin Kress, "Somebody, Anybody, Nobody"

A Montana native and Yale M.F.A. recipient, Kress adds a certain creepy, dolorous quality to his various allegorical endeavours in painting, sculpture and photography, due perhaps to his use of masks as a frequent motif. They figure prominently in this show, which offers new sculptures and paintings, including one canvas inspired by Gauguin.
