"4 Eccentrics"

The otherwise-unrelated works of Paul Evans, James Mont, Mickalene Thomas and Balint Zsako are united by elements of quirkiness. Though this definition has variable applications for each artist, there are some similarities, mainly in unusual approach to materials; while Thomas's paintings of violence glitter with inlaid rhinestones, Mont's midcentury furniture makes innovative use of the natural qualities of wood.
