1. The window-lined cabin in Saugerties
There’s no worry about being able to see the view from this spectacular cabin in the Hudson Valley countryside. Built around a bombastic boulder on a bluestone ledge, one side of the place is crafted entirely from floor-to-ceiling windows giving sweeping panoramic views of the surrounding wooded countryside. It also means the stylishly curved kitchen bar, the circular sunken living space and the huge 10-seater dining table are bathed in natural light. The rest of the rooms have a minimalist Scandi chic quality, but the real showstopper is the boulder which is seamlessly integrated around the terrace.
