From Coffeehouses to Banquet Halls

Time Out says

We all know that cuisines reflect the cultures they come from in the most visceral of ways, which is why we're excited to check out this tour ourselves. It offers a rare chance to look at the evolution of Chinese-American eateries and approaches to food, from the first teahouses that served Chinatown's turn-of-the-century "bachelor society" to the present day. We're guessing your crew will be so hungry afterward that you'll want to stop at one of the restaurants you've been introduced to along the way. The tour is offered from May through December on the last Saturday of the month. Reservations are required. All ages.
