World's Fair Anniversary Festival

Curious about the 1939–40 and 1964–65 World’s Fairs? Join Flushing Meadows–Corona Park for tours of both historic sites (yes, you’ll finally get to check out that huge globe you’ve gazed at from afar). On offer will be Fair-memorabilia exhibits, puppet shows, dance performances, face painting and 50¢ rides on the historic carousel throughout the day. Kids will especially love snacking on Belgian waffles (available for a fee), which were first introduced to the U.S. at the 1964 World’s Fair. All ages.
