Time Out says

During the winter, Wave Hill invites artists to its Glyndor Gallery to use the winter environment as creative inspiration and engage the public in an interactive workshop. On March 10, during the Fictitious Portraits in Real Life workshop,  painter Maia Cruz Palileo will present her paintings. After guests take a look at her work, they’ll participate in an activity where they’ll use artistic techniques such as brush work, mark-making and composition as demonstrated by Palileo to create a family portrait painting. On March 13, Chad Stayrook will show his narrative video series that comprise four short videos featuring an interplanetary explore who needs cold weather to survive. Stayrook will lead participants in a hands-on workshop where they’ll learn a technique to bind plastic sheets together with the use of wax paper and an iron to create interesting shapes. When finished, the group will combine their individual pieces into one large sculpture inflated by a fan. Ages 12 and up.
