Virtual Memorial Day Commemoration

The Intrepid's annual Memorial Day celebration is happening online this year.The event will kick off with a singing of the National Anthem by Stephanie J. Block, followed by  remarks from Admiral Karl L. Schultz, 26th Commandant of the United States Coast Guard, and Stuart Gelband, President of the Intrepid Former Crewmembers Association. Navy Commander Jay Yelon will place a ceremonial wreath in the Hudson River and the event will conclude with a performance of the National March by the United States Navy Band.
