Urban Stages Summer Camp

Young actors get the star treatment at this theater camp, where the class is capped at 15 students to ensure that everyone gets plenty of attention. Throughout the five-week session, they’ll improve their acting, dancing and singing skills, learn how to design costumes and puppets, manage a stage and perform spoken word, culminating in an original musical on an Off Broadway stage. While no experience is necessary, admission requires an application and interview. Camp runs June 30–Aug 1. Five-week session $1,900. Ages 10 to 14.
