Union Square Sandwich Smackdown

Kids put their sandwich-making skills to the test at this inaugural competition. All teams will be provided with bread and condiments, but they'll have to think beyond the basic PB&J as they explore the Union Square Greenmarket for other ingredients. Through Sept 7, kids ages 6 to 14 (and their adult sous chefs) can visit grownyc.org to sign up for a team. Admission is free to view and sample, but attendees must register at brownpapertickets.com/event/263001. All ages.
