Turtle Day

All-things turtle will descend onto Wave Hill for its celebration of the beloved reptile. Kiddies can get creative during the Family Art Project (10am–1pm) and use these creatures as their muse while they create stuffed, wearable turtle-shell backpacks. Once your youngsters are done making their masterpieces, head to Turtle & Shell Show and Tell (1-1:30pm), ideal for ages 4–6 (with adult accompaniment). Then, swing by at 2pm for environmental educator Carl Heitmuller's nature presentation (ages 6 and up are welcome with an adult). All ages.
