Granted, it's a mega-splurge. But the chance to board a century-old barge and ride along as it's tugged by a (you guessed it) tug boat don't happen every day. The Tugboat Pegasus will pull the barge that houses the Waterfront Museum on a two-hour voyage through New York Harbor from Red Hook to Pier 25 (departing May 3 at 6pm and July 2 at noon), where it will take up residence for two weeks in May and for several days in July, respectively. The return voyage departs Pier 25 on May 15 at 2pm and on July 2 at 4pm. Seating is limited to 24 passengers. To reserve a spot, e-mail dsharps@waterfrontmuseum.org or call 718-624-4719, ext 11. All ages.
