Comprising a girls' camp and a boys' camp, this brother-sister operation functions as two separate programs with one philosophy: self-reliance, self-confidence, sportsmanship and leadership. Campers develop tolerance and respect for others and learn how to deal with conflict through athletics, adventure activities, family-style dining, and cabin life. The staff here is particularly noteworthy—more than 95 percent of them attended Susquehannock for at least four years. Camp runs June 29–Aug 18 (first session June 29–July 22, second session July 24–Aug 18); seven-week session $6,550 (ages 7 to 11), $6,750 (ages 12 to 17). Two-week sessions available (ages 7 to 11). Ages 7 to 17.
