Hear a story told entirely through music in the Little Orchestra Society's production of Peter and the Wolf. This 1936 Prokofiev classic tells the tale of young Peter's journey into the woods and the evil wolf who stalks him. The orchestra gives the audience the story using different instruments and themes for each character. Pieces by Russian greats Stravinsky, Shostakovich and Kabalevsky will help to bring the whimsical tale to life. Ages 5 and up.
