The JCC in Manhattan Birthday Parties

The venerable Big Apple institution has expanded its party offerings beyond sports. Themes include dance, science, cooking, art and gymnastics. Custom hip-hop parties are now all the rage, enabling the birthday child to fashion a personalized playlist to be used for a 45-minute hip-hop dance class that culminates with a costume-enhanced show. The JCC takes care of the decor, favors, food and entertainment, and a magician, a balloon twister, or a face painter can join in for an extra fee. Expect an hour of activities and an hour of celebration in the party room. Ages 2 to 12.
