The Brooklyn Gingerbread House Bash

Get into the spirit of giving this holiday with a sweet family workshop at Brooklyn Plantology that benefits a worthy cause. For $25, you and your crafty crew get a pre-assembled gingerbread house plus icing and an assortment of candies for decorating. Confectionary pro Abby Santamaria from The Island Garden Baking Company will provide decorating inspiration and instruction, and the most creative houses will be eligible for cash prizes. Snap a pic with Santa in the free photo booth for a festive souvenir. Proceeds from the Gingerbread House Bash will benefit The Food Bank for NYC, a nonprofit organization that provides food and support for Gotham's needy. Ages 5 and up.
