At this special event hosted by Symphony Space's popular Thalia Kids' Book Club, your little bookworms can revel in reading and conversation with Newbery Medal-winning children's author, Lois Lowry. Well known for her dystopian tale, The Giver—a title read in schools across the country which spawned a film adaptation released this August—Lowry is probably most celebrated for her novel, Number the Stars, about a young girl living through the Occupation of Denmark in WWII, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Ages 9 and up.
