Time Out says

This West Village craft hub offers kids an introduction to weaving, printing, dyeing, felting, soft sculpture, sewing and fashion. Over the course of an eight-week semester, students rotate through the various artforms, making one-of-a-kind creations like garments, bags and other housewares to take home and show off to their families. After-school pick-up is available at select schools in the area. Older kids (ages 11–14) can get in on a special Teens Sewing and Fashion program, where they'll get schooled on machine sewing, pattern making and more to create garments and accessories. Check the TAC website for information on After School Open House this fall, with info sessions for parents and class demos for prospective students. Ages 5 to 11.
