Taste of France

This francophone fest in Bryant Park is chock-full of activities for les enfants, including a French bulldog show (Sat, Sun 2pm), daylong drop-in language classes, a Ratatouille-themed treasure hunt, a jet engine display and even a kids' conference (Sat, 12pm). Parents, you'll want to bring a few extra dollars for chef's tastings of regional delicacies and wine samples, but L'Oreal hair and beauty sessions are gratis. Plus, stay late on Saturday night for performances by live French musicians. Ages 4 and up.
