Time Out says

On August 28, for the first time in nearly four decades, the entire United States will be able to witness a total solar eclipse. Celebrate the occasion by learning the planetary mechanics of the eclipse. Since it's dangerous to look directly at the phenomenon, the event will also include building a device to safely watch the sun disappear behind Earth's moon. All ages.
