Sundays in Soho

The Museum of Modern Art provides the perfect excuse to get the kids out of the house during the dreary winter weather for the "Sundays in Soho" series. Each Sunday through the end of December, the MoMA Design Store in Soho with host a series of events for kids and parents with a new theme each week. Attend a Coca Cola tasting as the store introduces its new line of Coca Cola glasses made in partnership with Riedel (Dec 14). Sophie Blackall, author and illustrator of children's books like The Baby Tree and Wombat Walkabout, as well as NYC subway posters, will host a crafting session and show how she draws her pictures (Dec 21). Finally, magnetic block company Tegu will have a tower-building contest with their magnetized wooden blocks that let young builders make incredible shapes (Dec 28). Ages 4 and up.
