Story Time: Michael Hearst

Michael Hearst, author of Unusual Creatures: A Mostly Accurate Account of Some of Earth's Strangest Animals, will read from his tome of oddball animals from around the world, like the deep-sea magnapinna squid, the Australian bilby, and more. Hearst, who is also a member of the local band One Ring Zero, will then play quirky instruments like the stylophone and claviola to songs inspired by the world's weirdest wildlife. Ages 8 to 12.
