Time Out says

Head to New York City's oldest house, located in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn, to learn about Dutch Christmas customs and meet St. Nick himself. Kids and families can sip hot cider, eat New Netherland Olicooks (doughnuts), decorate a wooden clog and enjoy traditional live music. When the big man in red arrives on horseback, little ones will even have the chance to feed carrots to his trusty steed. Stick around for a tree lighting as the sun sets. All ages.
