Let your little ones take flight with six days of bird-inspired activities at Wave Hill over spring vacation. During the week, daily art workshops (1–2:30pm, registration required) will get the kids' creative juices flowing with cool projects like paste papers, birdy pamphlet books and migrating kites. They'll also discover the science and mechanics behind these winged creatures during hands-on exploration sessions covering shells and feathers, bird calls and flight (2:30–3:30pm). Over the weekend, catch live bird demos (Sat at noon and 2pm) and try dissecting owl pellets (Sat 2–4pm) or get in on birding sessions (daily at 9:30am) a nest art project (daily 10am–1pm) and family nature walks (daily at 1pm). Ages 5–10.
