Sneak Peak at Freshkills Park

Your kids may have little ones of their own by the time the park is completed, but at this annual sneak peek, families can get a glimpse of Freshkills—formerly the world's largest landfill, it's now being transformed into an enormous park on Staten Island. Tour the new digs by foot, bicycle or kayak, and then ride a pony, munch on food truck fare, catch live music and art exhibitions, and take part in other fun and free activities. All ages.
