Time Out says

Although NYC is home to one of the liveliest culinary scenes, sadly one in five children in the city don't know when they'll get their next meal. But there is a way to make a difference and get rid of that statistic. Help City Harvest reach its goal of earning $1.1 million to assist the 350,000 New York children and their families during the annual Skip Lunch Fight Hunger Campaign. From May 13–17, City Harvest will accept $15 collections—the typical cost of lunch in NYC—and other amounts and donate to those in need; $15 can help feed 60 children. Learn more about the campaign on the City Harvest website. All ages.
