"Sesame Street Presents: Follow that Bird"

Settle in for a 30th anniversary screening of Sesame Street Presents: Follow that Bird, the 1985 film that launched Big Bird's career on the big screen. Watch as our feathered friend tries to make his way back home after being placed with a family of birds, and keep an eye out for cameo guests, including Chevy Chase, John Candy and Waylon Jennings. Families will hear an intro from Emilio Delgado, who plays Luis on Sesame Street, and Craig Shemin, president of The Jim Henson Legacy before the flick. Afterward, explore the museum's exhibition "Behind the Screen," which looks at historical artifacts in film and examines the film-making process. All ages.
