Saturdays are the perfect time to dig deep into new science topics. During the Staten Island Children's Museum's Second Science Saturday program, ConEd teams up with the venue to help children engage in biology, engineering and graphic design projects. For the remainder of 2018, here's what's in store: The Science of Sight (Oct 13), which teaches attendees how to understand braille; Soaring to New Heights (Nov 10), which focuses on the life and work of Golda Ross, the first Native American female aeronautical engineer; and Pixelate Me! (Dec 8), an opportunity for kids to create pixelated crafts. All ages.
