Preservation Detectives: Go Out and Play!

This play day through the Lower East Side explores what life was like back when the Eldgridge Street Synagogue was new (that is, the late nineteenth century) by playing stickball, stoopball, handball, hit the penny, jump rope, jacks and more pastimes from yore, followed by a much-needed energy boost at the local candy shop! Ages 5 to 10.
