Ring in the Lunar New Year with this exciting family event at Japan Society. Kids will be mesmerized by lively taiko drumming and lion dancing (shishi-mai); they'll even get the chance to join the fun during a practice session. Other activities include calligraphy lessons (kakizome), kite-making workshops (takoage), making New Year’s cards (nengajō) and rice pounding, a traditional Japanese New Year activity that results in tasty mochi. All ages.
