NYRP’s Camp Out

Pitch a tent, unroll your sleeping bag and sleep under the stars in the ultimate bonding experience. The New York Restoration Project invites your kid to a free overnight campout at the NYRP’s premises. Kids will learn how to pitch a tent, go on an evening hike in the Highbridge Park, eat dinner (s’mores included, of course) and watch an open-air movie. The following day the group will break down the camp, have breakfast, and be home just one subway ride later. Tents will be provided; bring your own sleeping bag and/or blankets. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration required. Free. All ages. THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED.
