Time Out says

If your little comic and sci-fi fanatics can't get enough of New York Comic Con and Super Week, hightail it to Queens for a smaller-scale edition of the festivities. Catch live performances and head to Artist Alley to see cool comics, animations and illustrations from the pros and even meet some of the famed creators. Kids' tickets are half-price on Sunday, and youngsters will be kept busy with arts and crafts, drawing and writing classes and photo ops with some of their favorite characters—even Santa will stop by! Sign up to grab a free lightsaber and get in on Jedi training at the Saber Guild Padawan Training Institute (ages 4–15) and make sure to enter the kids costume contest (judged by YaYa Han) for a chance to win prizes! Ages 2 and up.
