Time Out says

Since 2004, Nickelodeon has suspended programming from noon to 3pm once a year to promote, well, anything other than watching television. But for its 10th anniversary, Nickelodeon is upping the ante with a huge festival in Prospect Park. Organizations like the NFL and Zumba supply the activities, while Ariana Grande and Big Time Rush will rock the stage. Tickets, while free, will be distributed by lottery through web registration at nick.com/play starting August 26, but unlucky folk can be on the lookout for events leading up to the big day, like "Bring Your Kid to Workout" at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum and double dutch workshops in Union Square Park and Brooklyn Bridge Park (be sure to check our website for the most up-to-date information). Ages 4 and up.
