Whether your child loves hearing stories or creating their own, they'll find fun activities and workshops to enjoy at this daylong literary event presented by PEN America. Little wordsmiths will laugh and learn some valuable lessons with the fabulous stories of Miz Jade at "Drag Queen Story Hour" (ages 3–8; $5), or they can try their hands (literally) at storytelling by creating puppets with Spellbound Theatre's workshop "Today I Will Be Fierce!" (Ages 2–8; $5). Older kids can get to work expressing their own stories under the guidance of professionals with "You Kid: A Comics and Graphic Novel Workshop" (Ages 7–14; $10), "Make a Book with 826NYC!: (Ages 8–14) and other workshops.
