The holiday window displays at Macy's are possibly the most famous in the city. The legendary Herald Square department store goes all out to craft not one but two over-the-top displays—one inspired by scenes from the Christmas classic Miracle of 34th Street (located on the 34th St side of the store) and another that changes each year (located on the 6th Ave side). This year's Broadway displays will illustrate "Santa's Journey to the Stars," complete with custom-made planets, elves and toys, all lit up with LED fixtures.
