Lunar New Year Staten Island Museum

Kick off the Year of the Pig with fun activities at the Staten Island Children's Museum. Children will get to participate in a traditional bamboo pole game. Before the celebration on Feb 24, stop by the Museum on Feb 5 from 11am–4pm to learn about the significance of red in the Chinese culture. Participants will be able to make red envelopes and decorate them with gold-colored calligraphy. Ages 1–10.
