Labor Day at Prospect Park

Enjoy the last day before school starts enjoying the great outdoors. All day long Prospect Park is hosting family nature events at the Audubon Center: Try your hand at "Bird Nerd Games" (1pm–2pm), a series of avian-themed puzzles, bingo and more; meet some friendly critters with Animal Encounters (2pm–3pm); and explore the park with a naturalist on Nature on the Go! (3pm–4pm). Families can also enjoy potato sack races at the Lefferts Historic House (2pm–4pm, suggested donation $3), and enjoy a carousel ride (12pm–6pm, $2.50). All ages.
