La Petite École, Greenwich Village

Though kids have plenty of opportunities to practice their français, the curriculum here goes beyond straight French lessons. Beginners can participate in the 2D Mixed Media Experimentation class, where they dabble in painting, photography and printmaking. Intermediate students explore either animation or French cuisine, and advanced speakers may participate in Le Petit Theatre, a drama program. Ages 5 to 10.
