Judy Blumesday

In honor of Judy Blume's 80th birthday, Symphony Space is celebrating the young adult author's legacy with an event for kids and grown-ups alike. Children ages 8 and up are invited to hear special readings led by actors, as well as a discussion with Blume illustrator Debbie Ridpath Ohi and contemporary authors your tween is bound to love Jacqueline Woodson (Brown Girl Dreaming) and Rachel Vail (Well, That Was Awkward). Blume herself will also be making an appearance for the occasion. Ages 8–12.
