Jazz for Young People: What Is Latin Jazz?

Grammy-nominated musician and South Bronx native Bobby Sanabria has shared the stage with such Latin jazz legends as Tito Puente, Paquito D'Rivera and Mario Bauza. Today, leading his Multiverse Big Band, the drummer schools kids in the fusion of Afro-Caribbean and Pan-American rhythms during an interactive performance with lots of snazzy tunes. Arrive early for pre-show visual arts and music workshops (12:15, 2:15pm). Ages 6 and up.
