A fresh series of workshops from the Beam Center invites middle- and high-school students to investigate a wide range of subjects through hands-on projects. Explore video storytelling using puppets and live video equipment with an experienced artist (Feb 28, March 6, 13, 20) discover printmaking as you work on relief printing, monoprinting and digital printing techniques (April 3, 10, 17, May 1) and try your hand at sewing and pattern-making as you design your own fabric one-piece “suit” (May 8, 15, 22, June 5). Registration required. Open to students in grades 6 and up.
