In celebration of Independent Bookstore Day, Bank Street welcomes an impressive lineup of children's book authors and illustrators to the brand-new location at Broadway and W 107th St. Pop in for readings, signings, puppetry and refreshments throughout the day. Peter Ackerman and Gail Karp kick things off at 10am, followed by Amy Hest, Robing Newman and Chris Raschka (11am) as well as Deborah Heiligman and Vin Vogel (noon). Watch a Fractured Fables Puppet Show with Todd Tarpley at 1pm, then round out the day with visits from Patrician Lakin and Cynthia Weill (2pm), Monica Edinger and Eliot Schrefer (3pm) and Susan Kuklin (4pm). All ages.
