Scour the museum's permanent collection for Revolution-era artifacts like the statue of King George (that tyrant!) or George Washington's inaugural armchair. Also explore the 300-year history of ice cream by helping to crank up a batch the way they did in the good ol' days (noon–4pm). Make sure to catch eighteenth-century songs (think Yankee Doodle), stories and a reading of the Declaration of Independence during a "Revolution on the River" performance from the Hudson River Ramblers (11:30am, 1:30pm and 2:30pm). All ages.
