Historical Hats Storytime

Head to Mount Vernon Hotel Museum on the third Friday morning of each month for a seasonally-themed educational workshop that includes stories, dress-up, role playing and craft activities. At Nov 21's Historical Hats Storytime event, little listeners will hear stories about the various types of toppers worn throughout history. Afterward, kids can make their own simple pilgrim hat or bonnet to wear home—just in time for Thanksgiving. Ages 6 and under.
