Gowanus County Fair

The fourth annual Gowanus marketplace fair hits the Brooklyn Lyceum to fill the weekend with food, music and the arts. Check out the Luceum Cafe for a taste of their fresh, custom-made pizza and munch on more delicious fair food (cookies, deep-fried everything) while kids can learn free form drawing, spin art and even learn to stage their own scenes at the “Superhero Combat Class” (May 5, 12:30pm) led by the Brave New World Reperatory Theater Company. Free. Ages 8 to 13.
