Flicks & Jazz in the Garden

Bring the kids out for an evening of music and cartoons. The audience will be treated to a showing of vintage cartoons such as A Colour Box, Polar Pals, and Spring Antics. The Flushing Remonstrance duo will perform original live scores to accompany some of the cartoons. Also, tune in to jazz band performances by Vin Scialla and Eric Schugren’s WakeUp! and Street Beat Brass. During the music, kids will get an opportunity to contribute their own musical sounds and join in on cartoon-themed arts and crafts. Pizza, popcorn, and finger foods will be for sale, but you’re welcome to bring your own picnic. For extra comfort, pack a folding chair or picnic blanket! All ages.
