Fleece Festival in May

The Prospect Park Alliance and the Wildlife Conservation Society are offering a weekend of fleecy fun in Brooklyn. At the Prospect Park Zoo, catch wool-working demonstrations and crafts before meeting live sheep. Next door at the Lefferts Historic House, experience 18th-century farm life by brushing wool with carding paddles, spinning yarn using a drop spindle and making a felt ball to take home. All ages.
